The TMOM (Trunk Module Outgoing Multipurpose) module contains two adapter sets for connecting special equipment (peripheral devices). In certain circumstances, it can be used as an outgoing circuit in order to facilitate tie-line connections. The operating mode is set by AMO TSCSU. The two circuits on the module can be operated differently, independently of each other.
The TMOM module enables the following special equipment to be connected to the Hicom system

The SIUX (Signaling Unit) board for Hicom 300/300E, replaces the SIU board in the central and peripheral system shelves. The signaling unit SIUX is used to supply the system with audible tones, announcements and music on hold. In addition, it contains dial tone receivers, DTMF receivers, a test generator and a test receiver. The parameters for the different generator and receivers can be loaded during operation. The announcements can be stored directly on the SIUX. As part of the service unit (SU), the SIUX is installed in the CCS common control shelf. As a DTMF/MFC receiver, the board can be installed in any desired peripheral board slot of the SWU.
In the service unit, the SIUX has the following functions:
In the SWU, the SIUX has the functions:
Country-specific adaptions are implemented by means of different loadsware variants, which are loaded when the board is put into service. The new loadware solution means that only one SIUX hardware variant is necessary.

The SLMA2 (Subscriber Line Module Analog) fully provides 24 analog subscriber lines and supports all functions of (on-line) analog telephone sets. The SLMA2 provides upgraded functionality from the SLMA2 board. The SLMA2 is compatible with the SLMA. In additon, with the aid of a SIPAC/SIVAPAC adapter, the SLMA2 can also be used in an LTU shelf without any modifications to existing hardware.
However, the system software must be upgraded to V3.5. Any of the 24 lines can be connected to any of the 128 time slots available in the LTUE-shelf.
Refurbished S30810-Q2113-X000-04 The QDCL card (Quad Data Communication Link) provides the interface between the periphery and the central data processor DP (either DP4L or DM3L) in the 350 E system.
The QDCL serves 16 bidirectional HDLC links (15 LTU + 1 SICOE). The communication interface to the DP is realized with a Dual Port RAM external (DPRe), which allows independent and asynchronous access from the DP via Multibus and from inside the QDCL via Local Bus.
This concept results in a partition of the QDCL board into one part which processes the Multibus interface ( = Central Message Processor CMP) and a second part which processes the HDLC interface to the peripherals ( = Line Processor LP). The two processors (CMP and LP) communicate via a Dual Port RAM internal (DPRi)

The SLMS (Station Line Module Digital S0) board for Hicom 300/300E, offers eight S0 interfaces, each of which can accommodate up to eight digital terminals. Each S0 connection (4-wire-system) constitutes a basic access with two B-channels (64 kbits/s each) for speech/data and a D-channel (16 kbits/s). The SLMS supplies connected terminals with a feed voltage of -40 V.
