The handset is made of plastics protected with a silver-based coating from BioCote Limited, which inhibits the growth of certain viruses and bacteria on telephone surfaces. Its solid construction, combined with the emergency call button, makes it the ideal companion for users in hospitals, care facilities, and safety-related professions.
Revised and more robust handset
The new robust handset comes with a new design and color scheme. The keypad has a new coating that provides better durability with frequent use and easier cleaning. An independent laboratory has tested the handset for abrasion under real-world conditions in accordance with DIN standards.

The Mitel 632dt DECT Phone is a rugged, dust- and water-resistant DECT phone that is ideal for use outdoors or in industrial environments. Equipped with a Bluetooth® interface for a wireless headset, both phones allow maximum freedom of movement. The additional integrated sensor alarm can be used as a safety measure in cases of lone workers.
Antimicrobial testing
The plastic surfaces of the DECT phone, desktop charger, and belt clip are protected by a coating containing a BioCote compound, which has been proven to inhibit the growth of certain viruses and bacteria on the phone's surfaces by up to 99.9%*.

The Mitel 632dt is particularly user-friendly thanks to its TFT color display and allows for easy navigation through the structured menu system. The three-color LED display signals important events such as reminders, incoming calls, or the battery charge status.
Sensor alarms
Thanks to its integrated sensor alarms, the phone is ideal for use in security or law enforcement. When the location alarm is activated, the phone automatically determines whether it is in a position that suggests the employee is in a threatening situation—and, if necessary, sends an alarm to a predefined phone number. An additional emergency call button makes the 632dt the ideal companion for security-related professions as well as hospitals and care facilities.
