The subscriber trunk module STMI board is a interface board for the HiPath 4000 in a IPDA (IP Distributed Architecture) System.
The STMI board converts the speech data of the PCM highways into IP data for the 10/100 Base-T LAN interface.

The STMI board integrates the following central and peripheral functions:

10/100 Base-T Fast Ethernet network access, comparable to HiNet CG2500
10 Base-T Fast Ethernet network access (reserved for future use)
