OpenScape Business myPortal for Desktop license
myPortal is a Java based client SW which is installed either on a Microsoft Windows based or an Apple a Mac OS based Desktop PC.
myPortal connects to OpenScape Business / Office via Ethernet LAN with TCP/IP protocol.
myPortal for Desktop – MAC, myPortal for desktop for Apple MAC is available with same interface as under Microsoft Windows.
Requirements Telecommunication systems:

For OpenScape Business X3/X5/X8 and Business S; myPortal for Desktop provides the user UC functions of UC Suite on the desktop PC available
- Representation of all UC functions on the user's PC desktop
- Maintaining contact lists and send instant messages
- call journals
- Indicating the presence status of all users of the system, management of own presence status
- Direct integration with MS Outlook calendar and the user's list of participants
- Different surface skins and languages per user adjustable
For the use of other UC features, such as Voicemail, fax, conferencing, Web collaboration are additional licenses required. Not possible with OSBiz X1. All licenses are network-wide assigned the participants or the systems established by the Administrator, the license is per myPortal for Desktop requires users of UC Suite. The number myPortal for Outlook / myPortal for Desktop licenses must not be greater than the sum of IP / TDM / Deskshare and Mobility-user licenses. The sum of myPortal for Desktop licenses and Upgrade to Smart Desktop may not be greater than the sum of IP / TDM / Deskshare- and Mobility-user licenses. myPortal Smart closes and vice versa with myPortal for Desktop or myPortal for Outlook. If the sum of myPortal for Desktop and myPortal for Outlook is greater than 150, then the booster server S is required.
myPortal @work
- The existing UC Suite user license can also be used with myPortal @work.
- myPortal@work in UC Smart mode can be used instead of an existing myPortal Smart Desktop. Existing UC-Smart settings are automatically incorporated into myPortal @work after its installation. The existing UC Smart user license can also be used with myPortal @work.
myPortal @work is an Microsoft Windows and Apple MAC OS based Telephony and UC client for OpenScape Business that can be connected either to the UC Smart or UC Suite service. It provides WebRTC based telephony and a common user interface for UC features. Depending on the UC service operation mode and the configured features within OpenScape Business the scope of available features varies slightly.
myPortal @work SW is part of OpenScape Business SW and bound to the SW version of the communication platform.
The following description refers to OpenScape Business V2R7 (or higher).
Deviations within the feature set may occur for previous or subsequent versions of OpenScape Business.
- myPortal @work provides a common user interface for UC features. Depending on the UC service operation mode and the configured features within OpenScape Business the scope of available features varies slightly.
- myPortal @work offers am embedded Voice over IP telephony client. If the VoIP option is activated voice call related features of the myPortal @work client use the VoIP function.
- myPortal @work in UC Suite Mode can be used in combination with existing myPortal for Desktop/Outlook Client (CTI, Favorites and Conversations).

Please make sure that the specified locking ID or Mac address or CLS account ID is correct.
The generation or transfer of licenses cannot be undone.
