SLMU is the successor of the SLMO24N (L30251-U600-A819) and the SLMO8N (L30251-U600-A818).
SLMU together with CMAe (L30251-U600-A983) is the successor to the SLCN (L30251-U600-A99).
The SLMU is supported from the OpenScape Business SW Version V2R3.
For EMC reasons, the "front panel cover" (L30251-U600-A436) is also required. The module has 24 ports with a total of 48 B channels.
The SLMU card offers:
- 24 UP0E interfaces for connecting "TDM" system telephones.
- Support for all TDM system phones currently released for OpenScape Business.
- Support of the master / slave mode as currently with the SLMO24N / SLMO8N modules.
- Simultaneous operation in combination with SLMO24N and SLMO8N cards within an OpenScapeBusiness X8 system
- Upgrading to the "Cordless" SLMUC card by attaching a CMAe module.
Support of the SLMUC card
The SLMUC (Subscriber Line Module UP0 Cordless) card consists of the SLMU card and a CMAe module (L30251-U600-A983).
The SLMUC card:
- Possibility to connect up to 16 DECT base stations BS5 or BS4 per SLMUC card.
- 16 UP0E interfaces for direct connection of base stations plus 8 additional UP0E interfaces to extend the number of simultaneous calls per base station.
- Support of maximum 48 simultaneous calls per SLMUC
- Simultaneous operation of SLMUC and SLCN cards in one system.
- Support of the same operating modes as the SLCN card in single and multi node systems.
- Support of all currently released cordless (DECT) phones
- Maximum values per OpenScape Business X8 system
- Max. 4 SLMUC and / or SLCN boards
- Max. 192 simultaneous calls
- Max. 64 base stations
INFO:
- One CMAe module from output state 4 is required per SLMUC board.
- The new SLMU board in combination with the CMAe module temporarily only supports line lengths up to 800 meters between the SLMU and the base stations.
- An 8-channel module will no longer be offered in the future.
- For OpenScape Business systems with SW version V1, an upgrade to SW version V2 must be performed for extensions with SLMU modules.
- Operation of the phased-out BS3 base station is not technically prevented.
- In the event of problems with BS3, these must be replaced with base stations from the current portfolio.
The mixed connection of base stations and TDM phones to one SLMUC is not supported.
