The OpenScape Cordless IP V2 Base Station (BSIP2) is designed for Power-over-Ethernet (according to 802.3af) operation, should an external power supply be necessary, a Power-over-Ethernet Injector should be ordered separately (L30280-F600-A184).
The outdoor housing (L30280-B600-B212) can be used for special environments.
There are expansion limits per group of base stations in which roaming / handover is possible, please refer to the sales information.

The outer housing can be used with the external housing already familiar from the OpenScape Cordless Enterprise BS5 base station and the BSIP1. If required, a separate mast mounting can be ordered.

The interface of the solution to the platforms is SIP (RFC 3261). For each DECT handset, a SIP subscriber is required in the Communication Server, please note the necessary user licenses in the o.g. Platforms.
