The TMOM (Trunk Module Outgoing Multipurpose) module contains two adapter sets for connecting special equipment (peripheral devices). In certain circumstances, it can be used as an outgoing circuit in order to facilitate tie-line connections. The operating mode is set by AMO TSCSU. The two circuits on the module can be operated differently, independently of each other.
The TMOM module enables the following special equipment to be connected to the Hicom system

The SIUX (Signaling Unit) board for Hicom 300/300E, replaces the SIU board in the central and peripheral system shelves. The signaling unit SIUX is used to supply the system with audible tones, announcements and music on hold. In addition, it contains dial tone receivers, DTMF receivers, a test generator and a test receiver. The parameters for the different generator and receivers can be loaded during operation. The announcements can be stored directly on the SIUX. As part of the service unit (SU), the SIUX is installed in the CCS common control shelf. As a DTMF/MFC receiver, the board can be installed in any desired peripheral board slot of the SWU.
In the service unit, the SIUX has the following functions:
In the SWU, the SIUX has the functions:
Country-specific adaptions are implemented by means of different loadsware variants, which are loaded when the board is put into service. The new loadware solution means that only one SIUX hardware variant is necessary.

The SLMA2 (Subscriber Line Module Analog) fully provides 24 analog subscriber lines and supports all functions of (on-line) analog telephone sets. The SLMA2 provides upgraded functionality from the SLMA2 board. The SLMA2 is compatible with the SLMA. In additon, with the aid of a SIPAC/SIVAPAC adapter, the SLMA2 can also be used in an LTU shelf without any modifications to existing hardware.
However, the system software must be upgraded to V3.5. Any of the 24 lines can be connected to any of the 128 time slots available in the LTUE-shelf.
Refurbished S30810-Q2113-X000-04 The QDCL card (Quad Data Communication Link) provides the interface between the periphery and the central data processor DP (either DP4L or DM3L) in the 350 E system.
The QDCL serves 16 bidirectional HDLC links (15 LTU + 1 SICOE). The communication interface to the DP is realized with a Dual Port RAM external (DPRe), which allows independent and asynchronous access from the DP via Multibus and from inside the QDCL via Local Bus.
This concept results in a partition of the QDCL board into one part which processes the Multibus interface ( = Central Message Processor CMP) and a second part which processes the HDLC interface to the peripherals ( = Line Processor LP). The two processors (CMP and LP) communicate via a Dual Port RAM internal (DPRi)

The SLMS (Station Line Module Digital S0) board for Hicom 300/300E, offers eight S0 interfaces, each of which can accommodate up to eight digital terminals. Each S0 connection (4-wire-system) constitutes a basic access with two B-channels (64 kbits/s each) for speech/data and a D-channel (16 kbits/s). The SLMS supplies connected terminals with a feed voltage of -40 V.
Refurbished S30810-Q2143-X-02 The hub controller (HUBC) board is required to support the local area network (LAN) in all HiPath 4500 configurations. This board provides the physical link between the administration and data processor (ADP), active switching unit (SWU), and standby SWU. The HUBC board is a centralized wiring hub for the twisted pair Ethernet star topology. It is controlled by the ADP. The HUBC board provides basic Ethernet management. The ADP uses free I/O addresses to access the HUBC board through the multibus 1 interface. The ADP reads the HUBC board port status information and disables ports if necessary. The ADP writes the link status for the eight twisted pair ports to the HUBC board LED register, providing the port status LED indications. The HUBC board is installed in slot 25 and controlled by the ADP (DPC5 in slot 31).

The LTUCE (Line Trunk Unit Control Extended) is the interface between central and peripheral parts of the system. It has an interface to the MTSCG /SICOE and the QDCL boards of both common controls. The transmission mode to and from the common control is balanced. On the peripheral part the LTUCE has an interface to all boards in the shelf with an unbalanced transmission mode.
The LTUCE selects the signals from the active common control and distributes them in the LTU-Shelf (LTU-Shelf is a general expression for the peripheral-shelf. It can be one of the compact- or extended compact-shelf). The LTUCE also receives signals from the peripheral boards and transmits them to the common control.
The front panel of the module contains one red and one green LED.

The WAML (Access Modul LAN) is an interface card providing connectivity inside a Hicom 300 PBX between the Atlantic LAN (ALAN"), an External LAN (ELAN") and the PCM speech highways. The module number is S30810-Q2205-X.
It manages following data exchanges:
The ALAN interface provides a Western Plug (RJ45) and the ELAN interface provides a Western Plug, a COAX jack and a 15-pt Cannon plug out of which only one may be activated at a time.
The PBX communicates with the WAML via the High Level Data Link Control (HDLC) protocol (the speech-highways are only for data- transfers).

The MTSCG (Memory Time Switch and Clock Generator) board is a central board. It integrates the functionality of an MTS64 or MTS128 (Memory Time Switch) and an NCG (Network Clock Generator). So it contains both functions, the function of Highways switching aswell as the clock functions for the system (supply and synchronization to an external or internal reference clock). Regarding clocks and highways the MTSCG fullfils the same timing conditions.
