CMAe for OSBiz V2 R1.1 L30251-U600-A983
NEW item
Manufacturer Part Number: L30251-U600-A983
CMAe is the successor of the CMA module.
Used when connecting base stations to UP0/E of the OSBiz X1/X3/X5.
CMAe (Clock Module with ADPCM) are improved submodules for the central controls OCCM (OpenScape Business X3W, OpenScape Business X5W) and OCCMR (OpenScape Business X3R, OpenScape Business X5R).
If no CMA is installed, a maximum of two calls can be made per base station. In this case the ADPCM conversion is performed directly by the DECT base station. However, echo cancellation is not directly supported. If echo cancellation is required, a CMAe submodule is needed.
In direct connection (also known as DECT Light), the base station is connected directly to an UP0/E interface of the communication system's mainboard or to an UP0/E interface of an SLU8 board (only for OpenScape Business X3/X5).
When connecting base stations to an SLU8 module (only for OpenScape Business X3/X5), the following connection conditions apply:
- A maximum of 15 base stations (7 on the mainboard and another 8 on an SLU8 board) can be operated. The maximum number of connectable DECT phones remains unchanged at 32.
- Only one SLU8 board can be used to connect base stations.
- The UP0/E interfaces of the SLU8 board can be mixed with base stations or telephones.
- With an additionally installed CMA or CMAe module, up to 4 simultaneous calls can be made per base station.
Note:
TDM user licenses are required for the DECT telephones.
SLC16N (use exclusively in OSBiz X5W) is discontinued, CMA is also discontinued.
