The Sennheiser SC 660 TC is a wired, binaural (two-sided) premium headset for professional users with special hearing needs. The headset is compatible with all common hearing aids. INTRODUCTION
People with hearing problems can be integrated into their environment thanks to different hearing technologies. And yet there are areas where even modern hearing aids reach their physical and technical limits - for example, when connecting these systems to modern communication systems such as telephones or UCC solutions. This makes it more difficult to integrate hearing aid wearers into the modern working world.

Inductive-based systems offer solutions here. These systems can transmit the audio signals of speech directly to the hearing aid. In addition, other colleagues are not disturbed by a high volume level. 

THE POSSIBILITIES OF HEARING AIDS
Most modern hearing aids have the ability to record magnetic information by means of a built-in induction coil (T-coil, hearing coil). 

Switching" the functions is usually done with a small switch on the hearing aid. The position "T" ("Telecoil" - or in the vernacular "Telephone position" for inductive reception) is intended for wireless recording via the built-in induction coil. This setting is better known as the "telephone" function in hearing aids. Originally, the idea was to make it easier for the hearing aid user to use the telephone by reducing the weak magnetic field generated by the telephone receiver is emitted, picked up and amplified. Today's telephones without special induction amplifiers emit a magnetic field that is much too weak, so that the inductive Transmission with the telecoil of the hearing aid is not possible. The same phenomenon affects Headsets, which also generate a much too weak magnetic field. 

Some hearing aids also have an "MT" position, where both functions (microphone and induction) are activated at the same time. Since the hearing aid microphone is turned off at the "T" position, the hearing aid wearer will only hear something when an audio signal is applied via e.g. the headset. Therefore some hearing aids also have the "MT" position, which allows inductive reception while the hearing aid microphone remains active. Normally the best Result reached in the "T" position. 

Based on the binaural (double-sided) premium headset SC 660, a special version which additionally uses a transmission coil and thus can control hearing aids with the above mentioned characteristics. Here the coils are installed on both sides, in order to be able to also control to allow the use of only one hearing aid.

In the inductive transmission coil of the SC 660 TC, the incoming signals (language), the phone generates a magnetic field that corresponds to the desired information. and which is recorded by the hearing aid.
Additionally, the SC 660 TC transmits the incoming audio signal as a "normal" headset and can also be used e.g. for "normal" hearing people.
The microphone is a UNC microphone (Ultra Noise Cancelling) and can also be used in loud environments. Thus the SC 660 TC is also suitable for use in e.g. a contact Center suitable.
The connection to existing communication infrastructure is identical to the SC 660. Connecting cables can be used.
